Bluesfest has two types of food vendors: Regular food vendors and BBQ food vendors. Please read each description carefully before you submit your requests.
Regular Food Vendor requests: Returning vendors with high volume sales in 2016 will be given first priority. These vendors will be given until mid June to decide if they will return in their spot. At that point, new vendors will be given priority based on the absence of that food category in the order in which their application was received. The cost for depends on the size of space you are needing.
10X10 space = $200 + 80/20 split
10X20 space = $270 + 80/20 split
BBQ Food Vendor requests: BBQ food vendor requests will be given priority over regular food vendor requests.
BBQ food vendors must meet all regular food vendor requirements plus All BBQ food vendors are required to compete in the Sunday afternoon Battle of the BBQ Competition – NO EXCEPTIONS. This competition is held from 3PM-5PM on Sunday and allows the public to sample (1) 2 oz sample of your choosing. The 2 oz cups will be provided by the event. This is the only time that there will be tickets involved and these can be turned into our finance $1 for $1 at the end of the event. The public purchases tickets 10 for $12 and receives two poker chip votes. These votes can be turned over to the BBQ vendor of their choice. The vendor with the most poker chip votes at the end of the invite is crowned the Battle of the BBQ winner and receives recognition on the main stage and free registration for the next year’s event.
